The Chair of Legal Culture of the UdG is organizing the II Catalan Interuniversity Seminar on Philosophy of Law. Nicola Abate, professor at the UPF, presents part of his thesis on the construction of the authority of the European Union from a constitutional and legitimacy point of view, addressing one of the central debates of European constitutional law: why and to what extent the EU can exercise political and legal authority over the Member States and citizens.
