El Realismo Mágico caribeño en Colombia: Ramon Vinyes, Gabriel García Márquez, Javier Auqué Lara y el Grupo de Barranquilla

En esta tesis situaremos la narrativa de Ramon Vinyes y Javier Auqué Lara en las coordenadas y los temas propios que se desarrollaron en el marco del llamado Grupo de Barranquilla, en Colombia. Trataremos de describir las principales inquietudes estéticas y literarias que conformaron los miembros del grupo y que constituyen las líneas esenciales de la juventud literaria de Gabriel García Márquez, que culminaron en su gran obra Cien años de soledad. Con este trabajo queremos subrayar, además, la presencia de determinados autores que fueron imprescindibles para la aparición del realismo mágico en el Grupo de Barranquilla a través, sobre todo, de los cuentos de Ramon Vinyes y la narrativa de Javier Auqué Lara y, en especial, de su novela Los muertos tienen sed, donde suponemos la presencia de formas estilísticas del primer realismo mágico. Este fue un entorno donde la aparición de la figura de Ramon Vinyes fue fundamental y su función de maestro aglutinador del grupo propició la aparición del realismo mágico colombiano: el premacondismo

In this thesis we will situate the narrative of Ramon Vinyes and Javier Auqué Lara in the coordinates and the themes that were developed within the framework of the so-called Barranquilla Group in Colombia. We will try to describe the main aesthetic and literary concerns that influenced the members of the group and which constitute the essential lines of the literary youth of Gabriel García Márquez, culminating in his great work Cien años de soledad. With this work, we would like to emphasize the presence of certain authors who were essential for the emergence of magical realism in the Barranquilla Group through, above all, the tales of Ramon Vinyes and the narrative of Javier Auqué Lara and, in particular, of his novel Los muertos tienen sed, where we suppose the presence of stylistic forms of the first magical realism. This was an environment where the appearance of the figure of Ramon Vinyes was fundamental and his role as consolidator of the group led to the emergence of Colombian magic realism: premacondismo
