La construcció de la identitat d’adolescents residents a Catalunya amb progenitors d’origen estranger

Els processos migratoris que es produeixen en els territoris generen un conjunt de canvis que afecten tant a les societats receptores com a les societats emissores. El procés de construcció de la identitat dels fills i filles de les persones migrades sovint comporta el fet de no identificar-se ni en la societat on viuen ni en la que han nascut. La investigació que desenvolupem a continuació fa una comparativa entre els processos de construcció de la identitat d’adolescents amb progenitors d’origen estranger, en funció del seu naixement a Catalunya o fora de Catalunya En els resultats d’aquesta recerca destaquem el pes del país d’origen dels progenitors en tots dos grups, i especialment l’existència d’una identitat múltiple que combina elements de la societat d’origen i de la d’acollida

The migratory processes that occur in the territories generate a set of changes that affect both receiving societies and broadcasting societies. The process of building the identity of the children of migrant people often involves the fact of not identifying themselves in the society where they live or where they were born. The research we develop below makes a comparison between the processes of construction of the identity of adolescents with parents of foreign origin, depending on their birth in Catalonia or out of Catalonia. In the results of this research we highlight the weight of the country of origin of the parents in both groups, and especially the existence of a multiple identity that combines elements of the society of origin and of the host
