La redacció del projecte es basa en la petició de la companyia artística Remuga, que és una companyia teatral en que la activitat bàsica gira al voltant de la creació d’espectacles d’autoria pròpia, fent èmfasi en l’experimentació dins de tots els àmbits artístics.
Aquesta companyia té com a futur projecte la realització d’espectacles teatrals itinerants, per a un públic reduït (entre 30 i 50 persones assegudes a terra) en ambients allunyats dels nuclis de població com boscos o camps i allotjat dins una carpa.
L’objecte principal del projecte és el disseny de l’estructura d’una carpa destinada a la representació d’espectacles teatrals, que sigui fàcilment desmuntable i transportable.
