1. Marc de treball Aquest projecte s’emmarca, d’una banda, dins la col·laboració d’alguns professors del Departament d’Informàtica, Matemàtica Aplicada i Estadística de la Universitat de Girona, amb l’Organització Nacional de Trasplantaments, en concret, en el seu Kidney Exchange Program, que gestiona els procediments de trasplantament renals creuats amb donant viu; d’altra banda, el projecte també s’emmarca dins una acció europea que pretén acostar els KEP’s dels diferents països de la Unió Europea i cercar-ne vies d’estandardització dels seus criteris i procediments. 2. Objectius del projecte ➢ Creació d’un programa informàtic d’ajuda a la presa de decisions al personal mèdic que gestiona els intercanvis de ronyó; ➢ Explorar i comparar el comportament de diferents metodologies per a la resolució de problemes combinatoris. ➢ Revisar i incorporar al programa la possibilitat d’ús de nous criteris (no usat en KEP’s)

1. Working framework This project is part of the collaboration of some professors in the Department of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics and Statistics the University of Girona, with the National Transplant Organization, at specifically, in its Kidney Exchange Program, which manages the procedures for kidney transplantation with live donor; on the other hand, the project as well It is part of a European action that aims to bring the different KEP’s closer countries of the European Union and look for ways to standardize their criteria and procedures. 2. Objectives of the project ➢ Creation of a computer program to help decision-making at medical personnel who manage the kidney exchanges; ➢ Explore and compare the behavior of different methodologies for the solving combinatorial problems. ➢ Review and incorporate into the program the possibility of using new criteria (no used in KEP’s)
