El paper de l’orientador a les unitats de convivència dels centres d’acollida

A través d’aquest estudi, pretenc justificar la importància de la implementació del lloc de treball del pedagog, com a orientador en un Centre d’acollida. Primer de tot cal descobrir quins perfils professional treballa en les unitats de convivència, i quines necessitats presenten aquests infants en situació de risc i/o desemparament. Per poder dur a terme la recerca he utilitzat l’entrevista com a eina principal, recollint el punt de vista dels professionals que treballen als Centres de la comarca de Girona. Pel que fa els resultats mostren que seria bo ampliar els perfils professionals dels treballadors de les unitats de convivència, per diverses raons. Tenint en compte les necessitats dels usuaris i l’opinió dels professionals que hi treballen caldria potenciar l’orientador en els centres d’acollida.

With this study I intend to justify the importance of the implementation of the educationalist job as a counsellor in a Reception Centre. First of all, it is necessary to find out what professional profile works in the cohabitation units, and what needs these children in a situation of risk and/or abandonment present. In order to carry out the research I used the interview as the main tool, gathering the point of view of the professionals who work in a reception centere in the Girona region. The results show that it would be positive to expand the professional porfils of the workers in the cohabitation units. Taking into account the needs of the users and the opinion of the professionals wo rking there, it would be necessary to strengthen the figure of the counsellor in the reception centres.
