Resum:	Cooperative learning is becoming more important in education because it differs from traditional learning. Its aim is to work together to achieve a common goal, as well as resulting in an increase of students’ autonomy, motivation, interaction and accountability. This paper collects the main features of this approach and it presents an innovative proposal based on three cooperative learning techniques to learn about natural science. The proposal is aimed at fifth graders and has digital tools as a key component.
