Aproximació al poble gitano. Embarassos juvenils en dones d’ètnia gitana

En aquest article es fa una anàlisi de contingut temàtic sobre el poble gitano, sobre les dones gitanes i els embarassos juvenils en dones d’ètnia gitana. Per tal de contrastar la informació obtinguda en la recerca bibliogràfica, es fa un anàlisi de dades concretes de les poblacions dels barris de Girona Est, Font de la Pólvora i Vila-Roja. Aquesta anàlisi consta de tres parts: sol·licitud i interpretació de dades numèriques sobre les dones d’ètnia gitana que són mares joves ateses pels serveis dels barris, anàlisi de la realitat percebuda pels professionals del sector a través d’un qüestionari i debat sobre la informació obtinguda amb professionals dels serveis socials dels barris a través d’un grup de discussió. A través d’aquesta anàlisi es pretén verificar si les dones d’ètnia gitana són mares joves o és fruit dels prejudicis i estereotips que es té envers el poble i quina és la incidència d’aquest fenomen en els barris. A través dels resultats obtinguts de la recerca, s’ha pogut comprovar, com aquesta dada no és significant en la realitat del barri, però sí quelcom necessari a treballar. Per últim, es pretén proposar unes línies d’intervenció socioeducatives que puguin servir de referència i/o reflexió pels serveis dels barris de Font de la Pólvora i Vila-Roja

This article analyzes the thematic content on the Roma people, on Roma women and youth pregnancies in Roma women. In order to contrast the information obtained in the bibliographic research, an analysis of specific data from the populations of the neighborhoods of Girona Est, Font de la Pólvora and Vila-Roja. This analysis consists of three parts: request and interpretation of numerical data on gypsy women who are young mothers assisted by neighborhood services, analysis of the reality perceived by professionals in the sector through a questionnaire and debate on the information obtained with professionals from the social services of the neighborhoods through a discussion group. The aim of this analysis is to verify whether gypsy women become mothers at a young age or whether it is the result of prejudices and stereotypes towards these people and what the incidence of this phenomenon is in the neighborhoods. Through the results of the research, it has been possible to see how this data is not significant in the reality of the neighborhood, but it is something necessary to work on. Finally, the aim is to propose lines of socio-educational intervention that can serve as a reference and / or reflection for the services of the Font de la Pólvora and Vila-Roja neighborhoods.
