El joc amb materials manipulatius per afavorir l’aprenentatge de les matemàtiques a l’educació infantil

El present estudi d’investigació-acció té com a objectiu principal analitzar els avantatges que té la inclusió del joc a través de materials manipulatius a l’àmbit matemàtic en l’etapa d’educació infantil. L’estudi s’ha dut a terme amb un grup d’infants d’entre tres i quatre anys. Les dades s’han recollit mitjançant instruments d’avaluació qualitatius i quantitatius a través d’una seqüència didàctica. Els resultats mostren que els materials manipulatius són un bon recurs per a l’adquisició dels primers coneixements matemàtics intuïtius i informals

The main objective of this action-research study is to analyze the advantages of the inclusion of the game through manipulative materials in the mathematical field in the early childhood education stage. The study was carried out with a group of children between three and four years old. The evidence has been collected using qualitative and quantitative assessment instruments through a didactic sequence. The results show that manipulative materials are a good resource for the acquisition of the first intuitive and informal mathematical knowledge
