Desenvolupament d’un sistema d’avaluació per a tècnics de telecomunicacions

Telcom Gi S.A. (TCGi) és una empresa de l’àmbit de les telecomunicacions que es troba davant la necessitat de millorar la gestió de les dades i els sistemes de control relatius als tècnics de telecomunicacions que té contractats. Aquests treballadors es dediquen principalment a fer instal·lacions noves i al manteniment del tram final de la xarxa de telecomunicacions que es correspon al domicili dels clients. En conseqüència, destinen la major part de la seva jornada laboral a realitzar treballs fora de les instal·lacions de l’empresa i això, ha ocasionat problemes d’agència així com també dificultats per fer un seguiment i avaluar la feina que fan. En l’àmbit empresarial, la gestió adequada d’una gran quantitat de dades suposa un avantatge competitiu. Actualment, existeixen diverses solucions tecnològiques que permeten acabar amb les carències i limitacions originades pel fet de tenir informació dispersa. Una d’elles seria la denominada intel·ligència empresarial (Business Intelligence), que combinada amb la tecnologia i aplicada en l’àmbit dels recursos humans, es pot utilitzar com a eina de suport per a l’avaluació del personal d’una companyia i en la presa de decisions estratègiques. Així doncs, relacionant les necessitats de l’empresa amb l’oportunitat que ofereixen les solucions tecnològiques, es creu interessant desenvolupar un projecte en què s’implanti el Business Intelligence i que permeti utilitzar les dades de l’empresa com a mitjà per facilitar la presa de decisions aportant coneixement

One of them would be the so-called business intelligence (Business Intelligence), which combined with technology and applied in the field of resources can be used as a support tool for staff evaluation company and in strategic decision making. Thus, relating the needs of the company to the opportunity offered by the technological solutions, it is considered interesting to develop a project in which to implement Business Intelligence and to use business data as a means to facilitate decision-making by providing knowledge
