Avaluació de diferents mètodes de control d’herbes adventícies en el cultiu de blat de moro.

En el cultiu del blat de moro la producció es veu afectada negativament per l’acció dels agents nocius. Entre aquests agents nocius cal destacar la importància de la competència interespecífica deguda a herbes adventícies. En aquesta competència és especialment crític el període de naixença. Els objectius del present treball es van determinar en la cerca de diferents mètodes de control d’herbes adventícies, que tinguessin un major respecte pel medi ambient i la salut humana, combinant tractaments mecànics amb diferents tractaments químics. Per una banda es va utilitzar en pre-emergència el producte Lumax, aplicat en 3 llocs diferents de les parcel·les; a la totalitat de la parcel·la, només sobre les línies del cultiu i només entre les línies del cultiu. Per l’altra es va utilitzar en post-emergència el producte Elumis i igual que el Lumax, aplicat als mateixos 3 llocs de les parcel·les. Finalment es va emprar una alternativa en base a un mètode físic, amb una calçadora de blat de moro. Es va realitzar el treball mecànic en parcel·les verge, en parcel·les tractades amb el Lumax (pre-emergència) i en parcel·les tractades amb l’Elumis (post-emergència)
