Rehabilitació estructural del mas de Sant Genís d’Esprac per acollir un refugi de muntanya i un centre d’interpretació de l’Albera

Aquest treball final de Grau parteix de la voluntat de conservació del patrimoni d’un indret singular de la serra de l’Albera. Cada any, el poble d’Espolla puja en romeria a Sant Genís d’Esprac on es passa una jornada festiva al voltant del mas i l’ermita de Sant Genís. Aquest fet fa que any rere any, pugui veure aquesta masia i la seva ermita adossada i com el pas del temps no perdona la seva integritat. Actualment el mas es troba en un estat de conservació molt pèssim, acostant-se a la ruïna. És per això que amb la voluntat de posar un petit gra de sorra per a la seva conservació parteix la idea de proposar com a TFG la rehabilitació estructural del mas de Sant Genís, per tal que aquest pugui esdevenir un futur refugi de muntanya i un centre d’interpretació de l’Albera. La idea principal és poder desenvolupar un projecte, disseny i càlcul estructural, de tal manera que es garanteixi la seguretat i integritat del mas i poder desenvolupar els nous usos en un futur. D’aquesta manera es pot posar en pràctica i complimentar els conceptes adquirits durant el Grau en un cas pràctic i proper.

This final thesis of the Degree starts from the desire to conserve the heritage from a unique place in the Albera mountain range. Every year, the town of Espolla rises in pilgrimage to Sant Genís d’Esprac where a festive day is spent around the but also the hermitage of Sant Genís. This fact means that year after year, I can see this farmhouse and its attached hermitage and how the passage of time does not forgive it its integrity Currently the farmhouse is in a very state of conservation lousy, approaching ruin. That is why with the will to put one small grain of sand for its conservation starts with the idea of proposing as a TFG the structural rehabilitation of the farmhouse of Sant Genís, so that it could become a future mountain refuge and an interpretation center of Albera. The main idea is to be able to develop a project, design and calculation structural, in such a way as to guarantee the safety and integrity of the farm i to be able to develop new uses in the future. This way you can put in practice and complement the concepts acquired during the Degree in one case practical and close.
