Possibilitats educatives de la cultura popular: un element a incorporar al Grau de Pedagogia de la Universitat de Girona

La cultura popular s’ha transformat al llarg dels últims anys, especialment amb el creixement de les plataformes streaming. La manera com definir-la depèn de diferents factors en els que es valora la intencionalitat de la producció, però també la postura de l’espectador al consumir-la. A més, l’accessibilitat de la que disposa ara l’audiència per introduir-se a aquests continguts ha comportat que la seva presencia a les nostres vides sigui cada vegada més rellevant, especialment en la de les generacions més joves. La quantitat d’hores que ens passem davant la pantalla tenen un impacte en la manera en que desenvolupem el nostre ideari, la manera en que interaccionem i coneixem el món. Per això, aquest impacte que suposa la cultura popular pot utilitzar-se des d’un context educatiu, i aprofitar les produccions culturals com a mitjà per treballar continguts i competències amb els estudiants. A partir de què i com es pot aprendre de la cultura popular, s’ha fet un anàlisi de la manera en què aquests continguts es troben a l’actual pla d’estudis del grau en pedagogia a la UdG des de la mirada dels coordinadors, professors i alumnes del grau. Finalment, les seves aportacions serviran per fer una proposta d’incorporació basada en les necessitats que presenta l’alumnat

Popular culture has had a transformation over the last few years, especially due to the growth of streaming services. Describing the concept of popular culture can evoke various elements such as the intentionality of the production, but also how the spectator consumes those contents. Moreover, its easy access for the audience implies an increasing presence un our daily lives, especially for the younger generations. The many hours we spend in front a screen have repercussions in the way we develop our mindset, in out interaction with others, and in the way we know the world. For this reason, the impact of popular culture can be understood in an educational context and use cultural productions as an educational tool to learn specific contents and skills. Based on what and how it is possible to learn from popular culture, it has been analysed how those contents are presented in the curriculum of the degree in pedagogy at the UdG. The analysis takes the point of view of the coordinators, the professors, and the students. Lastly, their contributions will be used to make a proposal for incorporation based on the needs of the students
