De mares a filles, dues generacions de dones: una anàlisi de les visions i percepcions de l’educació de les joves d’origen marroquí i les seves mares

La inclusió de les joves d’origen marroquí en els nostres contextos socials està condicionada pels valors transmesos en el seu entorn familiar, i específicament les noies reben l’educació i els valors per part de les seves mares, que tenen el rol de promoure l’educació en l’entorn familiar. No obstant això, el conflicte sovint apareix quan la noia se n’adona que l’educació que rep en el seu entorn familiar és molt diferent a l’educació i els valors que li transmet la societat. En aquest context, es fa evident que el rol de les mares marroquines en moltes ocasions no acaba de satisfer les necessitats educatives de les seves filles. Això pot ser resultat de diferents factors: per una banda, el fet de tractar-se de dues generacions diferents i educades en dos contextos socials diferents: i per altra banda, és primordial valorar l’educació en l’entorn familiar i social de les mares. Aquest estudi pretén analitzar el paper de les dones d’origen marroquí en l’educació de les seves filles nascudes a Catalunya. Per això s’ha centrat en recollir les evidències de dones i joves de la província de Girona. La recerca té un enfocament qualitatiu i per això, s’han dut a terme entrevistes amb les mares i les filles. En total s’han realitzat dotze entrevistes. L’anàlisi dels resultats demostra les semblances i diferències en els valors, preferències i educació de les mares i les seves filles

The inclusion of young women of Moroccan origin in our social context is conditioned by the values in their family context, and specifically the girls receive the education and the values of their mothers, who have the role of promoting l’education in the family community. However, the conflict often shows up when the girl finds out that the education she receives in her family context is very different from the education and values that the society transmits to her. In this context, it is clear that the role of Moroccan mothers often fails to meet the educational needs of their daughters. This can be the result of different factors: on the one hand, the fact that they are part of two different generations and educated in two different social context: on the other hand, it is essential to value the education in the family and social environment of the mothers. The aim of this study is to analyze the role of the women of Moroccan origin in the education of their daughters born in Catalonia. For this reason, it has focus on gathering evidence from women and young girls in the province of Girona. The research has a qualitative approach, which is why I interviewed mothers and daughters. A total of twelve interviews were conducted. The analysis of the results shows the similarity and differences in the values, preferences and the education of the mothers and their daughters
