Evolució de la forma i l’espai expositiu : L’obra d’art condiciona l’arquitectura museística? = Evolution of form and exhibition space : Does the artwork condition the museum architecture?

Based on an analysis of the evolution of museum architecture and its respective characteristics in each period, this article highlights the existence of a dialectical relationship that can be established between architecture and museology. However, there are several roles played by museum architecture, which is why this document focuses on the analogy between the work of art and the exhibition space. A series of specificities are highlighted that will give rise to a typological analysis methodology through a critique of history that will be structured into three main groups, depending on the degree of relationship established between the object (text) and the museum (context). Both are understood as narrative structures and are studied depending on the relationship of subordination between each of them.

Partint de l’anàlisi de l’evolució de l’arquitectura dels museus i les seves respectives característiques de cada època, aquest article posa en rellevància l’existència d’una relació dialèctica que es pot establir entre l’arquitectura i la museologia. No obstant, són diversos els papers que juga l’arquitectura museística, per aquest motiu el present document es focalitza en l’analogia entre l’obra d’art i l’espai expositiu. S’extreuen una sèrie d’especificitats que seran les que donaran lloc a una metodologia d’anàlisi tipològica a través d’una crítica de la història que s’estructurarà en tres grans grups, depenent del grau de relació que s’estableix entre l’objecte (text) i el museu (context). S’entenen els dos com a estructures narratives i s’estudien depenen de la relació de supeditació que es du a terme entre cada un d’ells.
