Disseny d’un conjunt d’alerons davanters d’una MotoGP

En aquest treball de final de grau es busca trobar i comparar els coeficients aerodinàmics d’una motocicleta a la que se li implementen diferents dissenys d’alerons que trobem al mundial de MotoGP d’aquest any 2020, mitjançant un programa de simulació que genera un túnel de vent virtual per obtenir aquests coeficients. Hi ha un total de quatre dissenys diferents: un d’ells és una motocicleta sense afegits aerodinàmics i els altres tres dissenys són implementacions de diferents alerons reals a la motocicleta estudiada inicialment. Els dissenys són extrets de les marques Honda, Yamaha i Ducati i cada un d’aquests s’ha estudiat a diferents velocitats per observar si presenten un comportament molt diferent a baixes i altes velocitats. Una vegada trobats els coeficients, s’han extret les conclusions de quin disseny ha plantejat millors qualitats aerodinàmiques i perquè i en quin tipus de circuit seria millor incorporar cada disseny

In this end-of-degree thesis, we seek to find and compare the aerodynamic coefficients of a motorcycle that implements different designs of spoilers that we find in the MotoGP world championship of this year 2020, through a simulation program that generates a virtual wind tunnel for get these coefficients. There are a total of four different designs: one of them is a motorcycle without aerodynamic additions and the other three designs are implementations of different real ailerons a the motorcycle initially studied. The designs are taken from the Honda, Yamaha and Ducati brands and each of these has been studied at different speeds to observe if they exhibit a behavior very different at low and high speeds. Once the coefficients have been found, the conclusions have been drawn which design has proposed better aerodynamic qualities and why and in what type of circuit it would be better incorporate each design
