La circulació monetària en els jaciments rurals baiximperials de l’extrem nord-est de la península Ibèrica

In this article we explain the conclusions extracted from the study of two hundred twenty-nine coins proceeding from twenty different archaeological sites in rural north-eastern areas of the Iberian Peninsula. We aim to determine which were the most circulated types of coin by examining the module, metal, mint, emissary, and type of reverse of the coins. We thus propose some brief hypotheses about the economy that existed in the aforementioned area, as well as compare our results with those obtained in other studies of coin circulation carried out in the Iberian Peninsula and in the rest of Europe

En aquest article s’expliquen les conclusions extretes de l’estudi de dues-centes vint-i-nou monedes baix imperials procedents de tots els jaciments d’àmbit rural del nord-est de la península Ibèrica. Es pretén principalment determinar quines eren les característiques de la moneda circulant predominant: quin tipus, de quin metall, la seva procedència, el seu emissor i el seu tipus de revers. S’apunten de manera breu algunes hipòtesis sobre el tipus d’economia existent a la zona, així com també es creuen dades amb altres estudis de circulació a nivell peninsular i europeu
