El Teatre de l’Oprimit en contextos educatius: una guia didàctica en clau artística i crítica

La lluita de l’expressió dramàtica per ser reconeguda pel sistema educatiu i per ocupar un lloc específic a les aules, és tan llarga com la llista de beneficis que pot oferir en l’alumnat que la practica; i en el seu desenvolupament personal, social i acadèmic. El teatre a les escoles acostuma a aparèixer quan es prioritza el producte que es vol compartir, però no per gaudir del procés creatiu que és tant individual com col·lectiu, i és molt més enriquidor. El present projecte consta d’una guia didàctica per conèixer i posar en pràctica el Teatre de l’Oprimit d’Augusto Boal, una proposta estètica sistematitzada que engloba una sèrie de jocs, exercicis i tècniques teatrals amb un propòsit profund perseguit també per Paulo Freire: la humanització de la societat i la presa de consciència sobre els conflictes socials que ens condicionen. Aquest mètode teatral ha estat adaptat per ser treballat a l’àrea d’Educació en Valors Cívics i Ètics en una classe de 5è de primària d’una escola de Girona. El projecte no només pretén fomentar aquesta expressió dramàtica en la pràctica docent i en la vida de l’alumnat, sinó que també vol reivindicar la figura de l’artista-pedagog i les formacions per a docents en l’àmbit teatral

The fight for dramatic expression to be recognized by the educational system and to occupy a specific place in classrooms is as long as the list of benefits it can offer to students who practice it, including their personal, social, and academic development. Theater in schools usually appears when the focus is on the product to be shared, rather than enjoying the creative process, which is both individual and collective, and much more enriching. This project consists of a didactic guide to learn about and implement Augusto Boal’s Theater of the Oppressed, a systematic aesthetic proposal that encompasses a series of games, exercises, and theatrical techniques with a deep purpose also pursued by Paulo Freire: the humanization of society and raising awareness about the social conflicts that condition us. This theatrical method has been adapted to be worked on in the subject of Education in Civic and Ethical Values in a 5th-grade class at a school in Girona. The project not only aims to promote this dramatic expression in teaching practice and in students’ lives but also seeks to advocate for the figure of the artist-pedagogue and training for teachers in the theatrical field
