Creació i organització d’un esdeveniment: el Drac no h’ha tingut pr(ou)

Les tradicions populars són un aspecte essencial per mantenir vius i units als pobles i fer-los créixer. En aquest sentit, el present treball planteja la creació i organització d’un esdeveniment basat en la llegenda popular de El Drac que Vol Tragar, que explica el perquè del nom de la vila de Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà, i que enguany canvia la seva figura principal, el Drac, començant així una nova era d’aquesta història. L’esdeveniment consisteix a acostar aquesta història als nens i nenes del poble a través de diverses activitats que també impliquin a les famílies, per tal de fomentar la cohesió social i la diversió entre tota la població, i permetre conèixer la història d’una manera diferent. L’esdeveniment es realitza per iniciativa personal i per l’afecte a aquesta història, al mateix temps que, l’associació del Drac, qui s’encarrega de fer la representació de la llegenda cada any en el marc de la Festa Major, necessitava promocionar d’alguna manera la novetat que es desenvoluparia aquest any. L’any anterior, l’associació ja havia realitzat un esdeveniment similar, però consideraven que s’havien de canviar diversos aspectes, ja que algunes de les activitats plantejades no havien acabat de funcionar. Així doncs, partint d’aquesta necessitat de l’associació del Drac, i la voluntat personal de crear un esdeveniment popular significatiu, divertit i original, sorgeix aquest projecte.

Folk traditions are an essential aspect of keeping towns alive and united and making them grow. In this sense, the present work proposes the creation and organization of an event based on the popular legend of El Drac que Vol Tragar, which explains the reason for the name of the town of Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà, and that this year changes its main figure, the Dragon, thus beginning a new era of this history. The event consists of bringing this story closer to the children of the village through various activities that also involve families in order to promote social cohesion and fun among the entire population, and allow them to know the history in a different way. The event is carried out on a personal initiative and by the affection for this history, at the same time that the association of El Drac, which is responsible for representing the legend every year within the framework of the Festa Major, needed to promote in some way the novelty that would be developed this year. The previous year, the association had already held a similar event, but they considered that several aspects had to be changed, since some of the proposed activities had not finished working. So, based on this need of the association of El Drac, and the personal will to create a meaningful, fun and original popular event, this project arises.
