This book provides tools for analysing the motion and equilibrium conditions of mechanisms and machines. Although the text is written primarily for engineering students, there is much material that may be of value to practising engineers. Apart from the theoretical background, the book offers many examples and solved exercises. Pere Maimí Vert is a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Construction and a member of the AMADE research group at the University of Girona, with more than twenty years of teaching experience in the fields of machine theory and the mechanics of composite materials

Aquest llibre ofereix eines per analitzar el moviment i les condicions d’equilibri de mecanismes i màquines. Tot i que el text està escrit principalment per a estudiants d’enginyeria, hi ha molt material que pot ser de valor per als enginyers en exercici. A part del fons teòric, el llibre ofereix molts exemples i exercicis resolts. Pere Maimí Vert és professor del Departament d’Enginyeria Mecànica i Construcció Industrial i membre del grup de recerca AMADE de la Universitat de Girona, amb més de vint anys d’experiència docent en els camps de la teoria de màquines i la mecànica de materials compostos.
