Sistemes de suspensió aplicats al món de la bicicleta

This work addresses the technical and conceptual study of the bicycle, analyzing both its historical evolution and the elements that define its structure and operation. First, general information about the bicycle is presented, including its history, the nomenclature of the frame tubes, the geometry and the different types that exist. Next, the suspension system is explored in depth, explaining what it is, what parts it is made up of and how it works, with special attention to the swingarm, the shock absorbers (spring and air) and the fork, as well as the regulations that allow the behavior of the bicycle to be adapted to different conditions. Finally, the work incorporates a practical project that includes the definition of the problem, the collection and analysis of data, the completion of surveys, the creative phase with sketches and plans, and the commentary on the proposed design. The conclusions include the lessons learned and proposals for future improvements. The overall goal is to offer a complete vision that combines technical knowledge and practical application to optimize the design and functionality of the bicycle

Aquest treball aborda l’estudi tècnic i conceptual de la bicicleta, analitzant tant la seva evolució històrica com els elements que defineixen la seva estructura i funcionament. En primer lloc, es presenta informació general sobre la bicicleta, incloent la seva història, la nomenclatura dels tubs del quadre, la geometria i els diferents tipus existents. A continuació, s’aprofundeix en el sistema de suspensió, explicant què és, de quines parts es compon i com funciona, amb especial atenció al basculant, els amortidors (de molla i d’aire) i la forquilla, així com les regulacions que permeten adaptar el comportament de la bicicleta a diferents condicions. Finalment, el treball incorpora un projecte pràctic que inclou la definició del problema, la recopilació i anàlisi de dades, el buidatge d’enquestes, la fase creativa amb esbossos i plànols, i el comentari del disseny proposat. Les conclusions recullen els aprenentatges obtinguts i les propostes per a futures millores. L’objectiu global és oferir una visió completa que combini coneixement tècnic i aplicació pràctica per optimitzar el disseny i la funcionalitat de la bicicleta
