Les entitats esportives banyolines duran el franquisme (1950-1965)

This is a study that aims to investigate the sports situation in Banyoles during the Franco regime, dealing with the three main entities dedicated to physical activity in this city at that time: the Banyoles Hiking Centre, the Banyoles Sports Club and the Banyoles Swimming Club. The main question to be investigated is whether these entities were a Francoist paradigm or, through sport, they constituted themselves as a model of resistance towards such ideology, or neither. The main conclusion is that the sports entities studied adopted mostly an attitude of a certain neutrality, since the defense of the Catalan language, but also good relations with the regime, ended up characterizing them

Aquest és un estudi que té per finalitat investigar la situació esportiva de Banyoles durant el franquisme, tot tractant les tres principals entitats dedicades a l’activitat física d’aquesta ciutat en aquell moment: el Centre Excursionista de Banyoles, el Club Deportiu Banyoles i el Club Natació Banyoles. La principal incògnita a investigar és si aquestes entitats eren un paradigma franquista o bé, mitjançant l’esport, es constituïren com un model de resistència vers tal ideologia, o cap de les dues coses. La principal conclusió és que les entitats esportives estudiades adoptaren majoritàriament una actitud de certa neutralitat, ja que la defensa de la llengua catalana, però també les bones relacions amb el règim, les acaben caracteritzant
