Anàlisi de l’aplicació pràctica del programa d’acollida per a Infants i Joves Emigrats Sols: estudi del cas d’un centre Servei de Protecció d’Emergència a Catalunya

Aquest treball de final de grau analitza l’aplicació pràctica de les condicions d’execució del Servei de Protecció d’Emergència (SPE) per a Infants i Joves Migrats Sols (IJES) a través de l’estudi del cas d’un centre a Catalunya. L’objectiu principal és avaluar l’efectivitat de les directrius establertes per la Generalitat de Catalunya per a l’acollida d’aquest col·lectiu. Mitjançant entrevistes a professionals del centre, es detecten fortaleses i febleses en la cobertura de les necessitats bàsiques, l’acompanyament legal i administratiu, el suport afectiu i relacional, l’avaluació i orientació integral i la derivació a recursos de més llarga estada. Es conclou que la manca de recursos i la saturació del sistema de protecció dificulten l’eficàcia de l’atenció, creant una situació de vulnerabilitat per als menors. This thesis examines the practical implementation of the Emergency Protection Service (SPE) conditions for Unaccompanied Migrant Minors (UAM) through a case study of a center in Catalonia. The main objective is to assess the effectiveness of the guidelines established by the Government of Catalonia for the reception of this group of people. Through interviews with professionals at the center, strengths and weaknesses are identified in the coverage of basic needs, legal and administrative support, emotional and relational support, comprehensive evaluation and orientation, and referral to long-term resources, such as transition housing for ex-care minors. The study concludes that the lack of resources and the saturation of the protection system hinder the effectiveness of care, creating a vulnerable situation for the minors. This study underscores the importance of revising and improving reception policies to ensure the genuine integration of UAMs into Catalan society
