Neurocirurgia i tumors cerebrals

Based on my stay at the Josep Trueta Hospital in Girona, specifically in the Neurosurgery unit, I decided to do a case of a specific patient that could show me what is generally done with any patient with a brain tumor. My main objective was to learn how a hospital works, and especially an operating room. To delve deeper into medical terms, in order to be able to establish more certain relationships between symptoms, diagnosis and the treatment to follow. All this in order to be able to cure or alleviate the patient’s illness

En base a la meva estada a l’Hospital Josep Trueta de Girona, concretament a la unitat de Neurocirurgia, vaig decidir fer un cas d’un pacient específic que em pogués mostrar el que en grans trets es fa amb qualsevol pacient amb un tumor cerebral. Principalment el meu objectiu era conèixer el funcionament d’un hospital, i sobretot d’un quiròfan. Aprofundir en els termes mèdics, per a poder arribar a establir unes relacions més segures entre símptomes, diagnòstic i el tractament a seguir. Tot això per a poder aconseguir curar o pal·liar la malaltia del pacient
