L’objectiu d’aquest treball és el de revisar l’estat de la qüestió historiogràfica en relació al trànsit del republicanisme vuitcentista a aquell altre, inequívocament, nacional català que quallà en els primers anys del segle XX i que acabà essent troncal en la democràcia catalana

The aim of this paper is to review the state of the historiography concerning the passage from nineteenth-century republicanism to the twentieth-century republicanism. The last one is unequivocally considered as Catalan and it played an important role in Catalan democracy
