Resum:	TADAS-devices are used in special moment resisting frames and needscertain relative displacements to start energy dissipating. The TADAS(triangular-plate added damping and stiffness) device is one of the examplesof hysteretic dampers with elasto-plastic behavior. A TADAS-device isdesigned and tested on low-cycle fatigue. A test design from a preliminarytest is proposed.The objective is to design a TADAS-device ant the testing set-up. The designis improved, taking into account the knowledge gained during the process
