Coses de dones: Lo somni de Bernat Metge i el Corbaccio de Giovanni Boccaccio

Estudi del debat profeminista i antifeminista en Lo somni de Metge i del Corbaccio de Boccaccio en el context de la literatura medieval i tenint en compte la tradició satírico-còmica antiga (Juvenal) i el debat de l’època patrística sobre la superioritat de la vida consagrada i, per tant, del celibat sobre la vida matrimonial (sant Jeroni). També s’examinen les relacions de la literatura vulgar i de la literatura llatina i escolàstica respecte de l’amor i de la dona, i se segueix la transformació del debat i de les intencions dels autors amb l’objectiu de proposar una reflexió sobre quina herència ens han deixat pel que fa la visió de la dona a la nostra època

Study of the profeminist and antifeminist debates in Lo somni written by Metge and Corbaccio written by Boccaccio in the context of the medieval literature as well as taking into consideration the ancient satirical-comical tradition (Juvenal) and the patristic Age debate about the superiority of the consecrated life and, therefore, of the celibacy related with the marital life (Saint Jeroni) Moreover, the relationship between vulgar literature and Latin scholastic literature about love and women, and the transformation of this debate together with the author’s intentions is followed with the aim of considering what legacy have been left to us as regards the way women are seen in today’s society
