La no continuïtat en la formació escolar: el cas de la ciutat de Barcelona

El present treball estudia els itineraris escolars a la ciutat de Barcelona de joves nascuts l’any 1998, en especial referència als itineraris escolars curts, a partir de les dades de la primera i segona onada del International Study of City Youth a Catalunya desenvolupat actualment pel Grup de Recerca en Educació i Treball (UAB). L’objecte d’estudi del treball és identificar els itineraris dels valors perduts (700 individus sobre un total de 2158) a la segona fase del Panel i descriure’ls a partir de les variables capturades en la primera recollida de dades de l’estudi. També s’espera que la repartició de contactes d’individus repescats corresponguin majoritàriament a itineraris escolars curts. Es parteix de la hipòtesi que la desaparició d’aquests valors no es deu a simples errors d’identificació i/o identificació ni tenen un caràcter aleatori sinó que s’expliquen per la desvinculació dels individus estudiats amb el sistema d’ensenyament. El fenomen serà analitzat des de la perspectiva biogràfica i d’itineraris per part de la disciplina sociològica

In this paper we study the learning pathway of young people born in Barcelona in 1998. We will make special reference to short learning pathways, based on data from the first and second wave of the International Study of Youth City in Catalonia currently developed by Research group Education and Work (UAB). The aim of the study is to identify the pathways of lost values in the second phase of the Panel (700 individuals out of a total of 2,158) and describe variables captured from the first gathering of the study. We also hope that the distribution of recovered contacts of individuals correspond mainly to short learning pathways. We start from the hypothesis that the disappearance of these values is not due to mere errors of identification or have a random character but explained by the separation of the individuals studied the education system.
