El Pacte d’Alcaldes i els Plans d’Acció per l’Energia Sostenible Anàlisi dels PAES i els monitoratges per 5 casos del sud d’Europa: Marvâo, Agios, El Prat, Vitòria i Bolonya

El Pacte d’Alcaldes, és una iniciativa voluntària coordinada per la Unió Europea. És la major agrupació mundial de governs locals amb l’objectiu d’avançar cap a un consum d’energia més sostenible i baix en emissions de gasos d’efecte hivernacle. En aquest treball analitzarem cronològicament el tema de la sostenibilitat energètica. Seguidament estudiarem la tipologia i les característiques dels municipis participants. A continuació, triarem 5 municipis de diferents països del sud d’Europa per a analitzar les accions i els principals resultats sorgits del monitoratge i poder establir unes característiques comunes o divergents. Per últim, analitzarem un municipi més detalladament

The Covenant of Mayors is a voluntary initiative coordinated by the European Union. It is the largest global meeting of local governments in order to move towards more sustainable energy consumption and low emissions of greenhouse gases. In this paper we analyze the issue of sustainability in a chronologically. Then we study the nature and characteristics of the participating municipalities. Next, we choose five different municipalities in southern Europe to analyze the actions and the main results arising from the monitoring and to establish common characteristics or divergent. Finally, we discuss in more detail a specific municipality
