Pell de Gavarres: disseny d’un producte turístic surer en base al patrimoni immaterial

El present treball és una proposta d’actuacions per a la posta en valor del patrimoni surer de les Gavarres, des del punt de vista del turisme responsable. En el marc de la Convenció de la UNESCO per la Salvaguarda del Patrimoni Cultural Immaterial (2003), el Consorci de Les Gavarres decideix inventariar els recursos etnològics del territori. Tenint en compte la importància del suro i les transformacions socials, culturals, econòmiques i urbanístiques que la seva explotació ha ocasionat al territori, és considerat un dels recursos més rellevants del patrimoni cultural immaterial del massís. Així doncs, mitjançant un treball de camp basat en l’observació directa, l’anàlisi de dades i la realització de diverses entrevistes, l’estudi planteja la creació de tres productes turístics diferenciats i adreçats a dos tipus de públic: un més genèric i un altre més especialitzat. En total, el projecte planteja sis itineraris diferents amb una narrativa comuna: el recorregut des de l’escorça de l’alzina surera fins al tap de suro emprat en vins com a producte final

The present paper consists in a proposal for action in order to place value on cork heritage in Les Gavarres, from the point of view of responsible tourism. Concerning the UNESCO Convention for the Saveguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (2003), Gavarres Consortium’s decides to inventory their intangible heritage. Considering the importance of cork and considering the cultural, social, economic and urbanistic changes that cork production has caused in the studied territory, is considered as one of the main intangible resources of the area. That way, through fieldwork based on direct observation, data analysis and personal interviews, the study contemplates the creation of three tourism products intended to two different kind of customers: a more generic customer and a specialized one. In total, the paper proposes six different routes with a common narrative: the itinerary from bark of the cork oak to the cork stopper used in most valued wines
