This work is an investigation that aims to determine the perceptions of how students in the Primary and Early childhood Education degree have about non-sexist language. We understand as a non-sexist language the use of resources such as gender splitting, the use of generic terms, the use as well of the so-called “generic feminine”, etc. The initial hypothesis is that widespread presence of these resources in texts in the field of education,
along with factors related to instruction on the use of this type of language, will increase the perceptions that the generic masculine is sexist. This study will be carried out through surveys students in the Education degree at the University of Girona.
