Jeans are seen everywhere. Jeans on the street, jeans in stores, jeans in schools, jeans in workplaces, jeans at formal events, jeans on catwalks... Jeans fill the world we live in in an obvious way. It seems unbelievable that this very peculiar piece of clothing has been able to spread across so many territories to offer us its properties. Properties that allow the fabric to adapt well to the person’s body, and a style different from what was known until then. And the fact is that wearing jeans was the dream of any American, a dream come true for almost everyone. But what do we really know about jeans? Are they made up of just a simple piece of fabric painted blue? Why have they come to dress so many legs in so many different places on our planet?

Es veuen texans per tot arreu. Texans al carrer, texans a les botigues, texans a les escoles, texans als llocs de treball, texans als actes formals, texans a les passarel·les... Els texans omplen el món on vivim d’una manera evident. Sembla mentida que aquesta peça de roba tant peculiar s’hagi pogut estendre per tants territoris per oferir-nos les seves propietats. Unes propietats que permeten una bona adaptació del teixit al cos de la persona, i un estil diferent al que es coneixia fins aleshores. I és que vestir texans era el somni de qualsevol americà, un somni fet realitat per quasi tothom. Però què en sabem realment dels texans? Estan formats tant sols per un senzill tros de teixit pintat de color blau? Per què han arribat a vestir tantes cames de tants llocs diferents del nostre planeta?
